Purpose, Mission, and Vision

Project Health, Inc. (PHI) dba Langley Health Services (LHS) is a Florida 501 (c) (3) corporation dedicated to serving the primary and closely related medical, dental and behavioral health care needs of patients in central Florida, and in some cases, beyond.  Our services will be driven by the needs of our patients and we will strive to meet these needs wherever and whenever we can deliver appropriate services reliably, efficiently and effectively.

The powers of this corporation shall be as stated in its Articles of Incorporation and these Bylaws, as amended from time to time, and as provided by the laws of Florida under which the corporation was organized.

LHS will pursue its mission by continuing as a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in conformance with the Program Requirements and oversight guidance of the Health Services and Resources Administration (HRSA).  Accordingly, our services shall be available to all, without regard to ability to pay.  LHS shall strive to be at or near the leading edge for delivering primary care and closely related services to our constituents.  We shall seek out like-minded and progressive partners, within and without of the health care industry, to collaborate with us on our mission and this vision.

Department's Services

As the center of your Patient Centered Medical Home, Family Practice can provide you and your family with continuing and comprehensive health care. A broad spectrum of services include, but are not limited to, same day visits, annual well-care exams, physicals (DOT, employee, school, etc.), immunizations (such as Flu shots), Point of Care testing (A1c, PT/INR, Strep, Pregnancy, Urine, glucose, etc.) and continuous monitoring of chronic health conditions.

Provides high quality comprehensive pediatric care including well baby care, immunizations, physicals (day care, school, sports, etc.), vision/hearing screenings, and growth and development tracking. Risk and safety assessments and rapid response to acute care needs are provided. Access to care for sick children is available the same day or within 24 hours.

Provides dental services to patients of all ages and provides comprehensive, quality dental care. Services offered include examinations, cleanings, fillings, extractions, and preventive dental care. Root canal therapies and crowns are also provided as a way to restore severely decayed or fractured teeth. Our dentists can also rebuild smiles by replacing missing teeth with bridgework, removable partial dentures, and full dentures. LHS has an excellent pediatric dental program that builds a foundation for a lifetime of healthy and beautiful smiles!

While Langley Health Services no longer directly provides laboratory services at our Sumterville site, we have an agreement with Quest Diagnostics to provide on-site laboratory services for our patients and the community. Anyone can contact Quest Diagnostics to schedule an appointment to have their lab work done, or they can stop by before or after their medical vsit. The Quest laboratory is located in the front of the Administration building at LHS Sumterville.

Laboratory Services are available from 7:30 am to 12:30 pm and from 1:00 pm to 3:30 pm Monday through Friday. Appointments are available and can be scheduled online or by calling (888) 277-8772. Laboratory services are now available to everyone in the community.

Involves the diagnosis and treatment of disorders of the feet and ankles to patients of all ages. We treat many different injuries to the feet and ankles including fractures, sprains, and ligament tears. We are also experienced in the treatment of flat feet, heel pain, in-toed or out-toed walking, ingrown toenails, fungus of the nails or feet, and many other foot ailments. Outside referrals are welcome in the Podiatry Department.

Offers a variety of services for all ages, including individual, couples, and family/group counseling. Services are available for people experiencing difficulty with their emotions, behaviors, or perceptions. Some of the most common problems treated include ADD/ADHD, Depression, Bipolar disorder, Schizophrenia, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Anxiety, and Abuse. Therapeutic interventions are tailored to the needs of each patient and their individual treatment goals, and include medication management when necessary.
